I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been with JPA since 2014. Currently I am the Connect 2 Kids (C2K) Program Coordinator where I support the mental health consultant team in their work to increase educator’s capacity to understand and relationally respond to student social and emotional needs, as well as provide consultation to school Administrators. I previously worked as a home-based and school-based therapist, a C2K mental health consultant, and directing JPA’s former High School Transition program, 9th Gear. Prior to joining JPA, I worked as a bilingual child, adolescent, and adult psychotherapist at a community mental health center in Chicago. 

 

I earned my BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Women’s Studies and Spanish in 2007, and studied at the University of Seville in Spain during my junior year. I earned my MSW at Loyola University Chicago in 2013. My specialties are child and adolescent development, trauma, women's issues, parenting and caregiver support, and play therapy.
