Hi, I'm Daisha Hill
Daisha Hill, School-Based Therapist, joined JPA in 2020 as an intern, and in July 2021 as a Therapist. Daisha graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Psychology (2017), and from Northwestern University with an MA in Mental Health Counseling (2021).
In her role as a school-based therapist, Daisha provides individual therapy, facilitates classroom groups, and builds relationships with school staff, parents, and the local community in order to holistically support students.
Prior to JPA, Daisha was a Student Therapist at The Family Institute from 2019-2021.
Daisha is All in for Kids because "I am passionate about filling the gap in mental healthcare disparities in historically neglected & under-resourced communities. I appreciate JPA's works within schools as this provides us clinicians the opportunity to make mental healthcare accessible to students who wouldn't otherwise have it, as well as helping to shift from the culture of punitive discipline practices to curiosity and care for students who are grappling with life's challenges in the best way that they know how."
